alverthorpe 6 v scisset 1....really good game in heavy conditions glad showers worked as every1 was caked in mud ,2 sets of players were excellent in there conduct through out the whole game,,,,,

after playing scissett 3 times this season 5-0,7-0 and last game a few week a go was 5-2 after trailing 2-1 at haltime they are a good set of lads shit pitch theres though and theyve improved from when we first played them

Cheers Mick.........we worked bloody hard to get the game on. Thanks to 6 or 7 players who turned up Saturday morning sweeping and forking the pitch to give it a chance it being on.

Thanks to Chris Holmes also for checking it out and YES I agree, Scissett have improved since the start of the season.

totally agree thanks must go to Chris holmes for going and inspecting the pitch and to your lads for making it possible with there hard work folking and swepping it .was a good day ,they have improved loads since beginning of the season,thought you had the edge over them, with pace up front, and a quality midfield .was really nice to ref it cheers to both teams ..oh and grub was brill
