twas a great game, it had it all, great tackles, late tackles, bookings (should have been a sending off), penalties and of course great and extraordinary goals........oh yeah and a broken bone.....

proud to be part of the squad last nite (cos i just made it onto the bench again ) and proud of the division. enjoyed the champers too!! (thanx to Clint)

The ref was very bad, I cant see him getting another final on that performance. The first Outwood pen was never a penalty, but he deemed that Damo brought him down and he was last man, so if thats the case he has to send him off. Then Wayne was definately tripped by the Vic keeper, but the ref waived play on. There not excuses, just facts. But still we was shite, and was well and truly outplayed by Outwood!!!

But Ossett needed to have a couple of proper friendlies before last night.
Half the team had been on the Piss in Cardiff for Four days, had the game been played a couple of days later, would have been a more fitter / organised Brewers.
The lads who had been away , stopped doing anything in the second half, just stood about, therefore The Vic where never out of Ossett Half.
Nice to see faces from the other divisions watching, and a good night for footy.

fair play to the Two Brewers....you are graceful in defeat......i agree totally that the best teams have won something and gained promotion!!!!

most our lads av bin pissed up all weekend if thats ur excuse, and the queen you refer to is mark longbottom and ur boy aussie never had a look in with him.

the break suited us all be it abit long gave us chance to re-group cos you came at us fast and over run our midfield. we got chance to sort out wot was going wrong and correct it which in a normal game you dont av the time to.
