Airedale were the lot better side and deserved the win. Good thing about both sides is that they're both top lads who arent arrogant unlike some others who i could mention. Also cheers for the pint airedale7 i think it tipped me over the edge | no worries insanno you must of dranks some the beer was like water!!

no we had 14, although 2 of the subs were a keeper and basher barlow, so i guess you could say we had 12 really, still enough though isnt it?

I'm not knocking it Mick............just surprised when one of your own players were moaning after our game finished on Monday at Nostell that you only had 11........
Even if you had 11 most weeks, there's obviously enough in the tank to win the majority of games...............a cup and premier league title!

we survived from roughly october to february only having a bare eleven each week. i think only having 12 did effect us this week, very little room for manuevre and with hindsight perhaps scally should have started. we do need a bigger squad for next year. obviously jonno has retired after breaking his leg and i think camby and andy brearley have now done, so we need some defenders. airedale had a much bigger and better squad then us on the day and fully deserved their win. i guess they will be trying to improve their squad for next season and we must do likewise. unfortunately its not easy to find good defenders these days, everyone wants to play up front!
how do you think you'll find the higher division next week willy?

I think we'll do ok, not to get carried away.
A couple of fringe players from this season want to join the seconds to play more regular so fair play to them.
I've been told we've got 3 quality signings for next season and nobody from our current starting squad are leaving so things are looking good.
I've played in all four divisions with St Michaels and Horbury Town and know what the standard is like.
You staying at Cherry?
