 Post subject: Will Barley RIP
Terrible news today that Crofton Sports Res up and comin midfielder Will Barley passed away today aged 17.
He was a quite but fantastic lad un always played with a smile on his face !
Some of the users of this forum might know him through the superb long range goals he got for us this season. 30 yard effort in the now infamous 3-3 draw with Alverthorpe, 30 yard effort in 4-3 defeat to Scissett un more recently a crackin volley in our defeat to Morley.
R.I.P son from all the boys from Crofton x

Really sorry to hear this. Not sure if we ever played against him although we did play crofton in a friendly at the beginning of the season.

i know i lost my 17 year old son in a car crash 2 yrs ago mate
