Yeh Willy, a Snydale player broke his leg badly complete snap tibia and fibula, Ambulance took 30 mins to arrive and it took some time getting the injured player of the field due to the injury so the referee had to abandon the match with us winning 1-0.
i spoke with snydale secretary last night and the guy was still in bad way in hospital and he is going tho have to i've his leg pinned.

not sure andy who the player was but he was in bad way, the tackle was fine it was just a 50/50 challange and the lad just went down awkward and it just snapped you could here it at the touchline.
am not one for writing peoples careers off but i don't think the lad will play again he only looked late 20's or early 30's ish too.
We all just hope he makes a good recovery and does manage to get his boots on again because he was a decent player.

Its every players night mare mate. Had a broken leg myself when i was younger but nothing like what it sounds like in this instance. Only asked who it was as we had only just played them ourselves and some of my lads are know snydale players.
We wish him all the best too though, Heres to a speedy recovery who ever it is _________________ Check out our Brand New Website

All the best for a quick and full recovery to the player from snydale, you would nt want this type of thing to happen to anyone, i feel gutted for the lad,
I hope he does make a comeback cause when football is in your blood its there to to stay, plus to go out with memories of that tackle and never play again would prob haunt me forever
So get well soon mate, you ve got plenty of time before the start of next season, just come back fitter, stronger and with more hunger!
