Cheers Mick. I thought you had a good game mate. Let a lot of tackles go unpunished though but it helped make the game flow and of course the pitch conditions played a big part in the tackling side of things.

Gawthorpe battled well but just didnt have the luck in front of the goal. Was nice to finally win a game again as we have lost the last few. Lets hope this gets us back on track

I hear stanley arms beat smawthorne 3-1 too.

yep stanley beat smawthorne 3-1, well done to stanley think they are home and dry with the league title, smawthorne down to 10 men in the second half and they played stanley off the park for the majority of the second period, but hey if yer cant score goals you aint gunna win games, nice to see DAVE HARGREAVES came to watch us i ask my self WHY?

Cheers admin was hard to ref with conditions had to detemin what was a bit late and wat was due to the conditions , dont like to caution players just for the sake of it, thought a word with the player was enough and in most cases it worked,but had no option in last 5 mins to caution the gawthorpe player but to be truthful dont think there was a really bad tackle in the game just a bit clumsy more than anything,after thinking about it may have got the -penalty decision wrong ,but ill hold my hands up to that ,,,
still in only my second season refing adults so still learning mate ,but trying my best , but its nice ,as yesterday,both teams shaking my hand and saying i did really well ,and had a goiod game ,try to be fair to both teams and try and make my own mind up on decisions .But overall really enjoyed yesterday
