Had a good ol battle at rose of york on saturday. Two decent teams out to win. We rode our luck in first half and were pegged bacl for the majority but had a few good attacks and our lad up front missed two guilt edged chances. We went in front in first half but rose quickly drew level before half time.  

Second half started the same and rose eventually got a second but seemed to take their foot of the gas as they did in the first game between us and we took advantage of some slack defended and got the equilizer. We then had a chance cleared of the line after a pretty tame shot and if our lad on the wing had squared a ball instead of going for glory we might have got the winner. I have to say other than that decision the ref (M Senior) had a good game and was fair to both sides. Not sure whether rose agree though

Rose (in most of our opinions) were denied a stone cold pen in the second half to make it 3-2 but the ref didnt give it. To be fair to the ref he didnt have the best view but most of us and the rose lads thought it would have been given.The injustice of that decision didnt help the rest of the game but in the end we were pretty lucky to take a point away from there.

Rich - I heard a rumour on saturday that your folding next season, if so thats a shame mate. If not looks like we will meet again next season.

Hi mate yeah had a good holiday and yeah you missed a right ol battle but enjoyed playing in it. There a good side and probably deserved the win but as in football it doesnt always go your way.

I hear that you played yesterday TuT TuT. Your bound to get caught out down there as the league will be watching them like hawks so if i was you i would sit out ya ban.

Yeh was a good battle on saturday andy, am dissapointed we did not get the three points but we should have put our chances away. As for the penalty decision i could could not belive he did not give it even your guys said it was a clear penalty.

No where not folding next season its just am not going to be involved as much as i have a few new commitments to do. But as for the the club they will be playing next year.

None of your guys came back to pub which i was dissapointed about andy as we came back both times we played you at your place, I don't mind if clubs do not want to come back as long as they say so and not tell us there coming back and not which has happend nearly every home game so far am fed up of wasting food.

Rich i agree mate totally. We would have been just as disappointed. I had to get to birstall or i would have dragged them there. The main problem you will have mate is one i used have a few years ago on a sunday. From what i can gather your pitch isnt that near your pub and some teams might not even go past it to get home but as for our lads i am not sure any of them knew where it was other than me and i wasnt there they probably just though "fuck it" and went home.

As for the pen some told me that the ref thought about giving it but after he saw and did nothing about your full back headbutting our lad up front he decided not to give it.

I sure hope Rose of York have said something to him cause that is fucking out of order , it was along time ago but a mate of mine did this to a sunday league player gave him the old Barnsley kiss and got a deservedly straight red, 18 months ban, £200 fine and the opp player did him for GBH!!!
All cause he could nt take the banter!
