Gawthorpe were very good, very determined......pitch not the best and we were very poor at the weekend........perhaps its just the kick up the backside we need.......we can't just turn up and expect to win.

Looking forward to playing you guys next Saturday (if selected) however I'm not looking forward to the big pitch!

I'm gonna go against a few people on the forum here who don't rate AFC Wakefield.......I don't think they are a bad side......I think on their day they can beat anybody.....got some good young players and if they keep them together, they will be a very good team in a few years time.

But what do I know........supporting Liverpool and the Wildcats is enough to test anybody!

I agree Kev we cant just turn up and expect to win, having said that we had at least 10 chances and no one could finish including me!!
Cant believe Gawthorpe are bottom of the league there not a bad side at all.  Well done to them they really put in the effort and made it a tough game.

But at the end of the day we showed enough quality to win the game! A great game from battersby a deserved man of the match.

Anyway roll on Saturday cant wait to play big game, if we win we will win the league simple as that!

I don't think any other team apart from us on our day can beat you so if you win on Saturday I think thats it as far as the league is concerned.

Iam sure that everybody from both teams will be more than up for it so good luck and may the best team win.
