You know far too much about our league not to play in it.......are you sure you play in the Barnsley league old lad?

County senior league my friend lost 3-2 at home to Athersley Rec (another Barnsley side)on saturday. I originally found this site per chance as we used to play Dodoff in our league and when they did a runner I was curious to where they had gone / just googled the clowns and found they had decided to try and win trophies in the lower league (no offence) It amuses me that they will not even win it.
Mark my words,give em a full season and everybody will want em out

Fair play then.......what's the standard like in your leagues?

Its quite good actually.Its just one league down from the North East counties.Division 1 is ok and division 2 is teams that have won the local leagues and want to progress.Dodoff started in that division and went up but couldn't cut the mustard so they wanted to kick people week in week out ,start fights etc.

I don't know what the other Barnsley teams are like (white bear and Kingstone ) as they always played in the local barnsley league I think.But Dodoff thought they could come to Sheff and rule the roost and it didn't work.

Dodworth played the best football out of the teams we have played so far. Alverthorpe again are a good side. Wakefield are poor apart from their pace in attack. Everyone else seems to be on a average par.

As for AFC Thornhill Poor side, Poor Season. We are rebuilding slowly but surely. Give it 2 more seasons and we will be AFC of old (the team who beat Fleece AKA Horbury Cherry tree to the League then challenged them for the division 1 title).
