and an even worse result for two brewers who got knocked out of the cup by scissett in what may have been a shock result had certain brewers players not been injured/sober enough to turn up - but good luck to scissett in the semis and thanks for looking after our injured lad

I retired last night at about 9 o'clock only to change my mind this morning - its no fun having these young whipper snappers skinning you every two minutes, particularly when they're that quick (or i'm that slow) that i can't even kick them. Was planning on going to watch the mighty leeds next saturday and then quickly came to my senses in the cold light of day this morning and decided to see the season out (until next week that is) but we're seriously struggling for a team at the moment and i can't see Paul been back this season - shame but me and tank made an awesome pairing on the left hand side yesterday

tanks a legend and a hero of mine im in awe when i see him shuffle down the wing with his barrel like body on a 2ft frame and a shirt that looks like a skirt only need that deany kid back now (si told me a tale about what he said was very funny it went summat like i need 90mins under my belt)but i think hes done a george best and his talents now lie in the bottom of a pint glass judging by his lack of coordination staggering down the green the other week
the only way is up

Ossett Ath 1 Alverthorpe WMC 1
Ossett scored after ten mins, Alverthorpe then peppered Athletic's goal for 80 mins but only scored from a corner.
Alverthorpe's top scorer missed a penalty with 5 mins to go.
Other game, Fev Col 1 Cliffe Tree 4......its advantage Cliffe Tree for the league with their games in hand.
Can't quite believe Scissett beat Ossett Panthers........did they put any ringers in from their Huddersfield Premier team though?
