Smawthornes promotion hopes took a dent today only managing 1 point against a stuborn cross keys side, think they thought they won a final the way they went on in the changin rooms, well done lads.
Heard White rose beat Stanley Utd, hate to say it coz i hate the wankers but well done White Rose you did us a favour

We didnt think would come away from you lot with anything mate especialy when your second goal went in, We struggled like mad with the wind as you did first half. We still have hopes of getting promoted albeit it very slim ones.
Also something that might interest you andy, I hear westgate have finally called it a day this week. So if all results get expunged from the league we only lose 1 point where as many teams lose 6 or 3 points. I think you lose 3 and i know stanley deffo lose 6.
will see soon i suppose.

Thats a shame westgate folding but hey at least we gat the 6-1 lose taken off our record lol.
If anyone from westgame want to join smawthorne give the secretary a ring, i think only 1 maybee 2 of yer would get in but hey if yer interested bell us

LOL a few of their players have already made enquires about playing for us before they actually folded. They wanted to see the seaosn out but looks like thats not happening now, As long as all debts are paid they will be free to sign for any of us.

This is what I heard a month ago; Cliffe Tree in Division 3 were packing in at the end of the season as they were joining Westgate Common.
Now as it seems its the other way round.
How true it all is, we'll have to wait and see.
Westgate Common used to train after my Sunday team at College Grove on a Wednesday night at 7pm......They weren't there last week........
