Results 8th dec 07Thornhill 6 Walton 4, not a pretty game played in shocking conditions,pitch a few inchs under water & tbh both teams were surprised it was even played.The home side scored 1st with route 1 football,then we pulled 1 back,they scored again through route 1 once more.We pulled it back even,Thornhill got a penalty then scored again to go in at half time 4-2 up.We started slow again & the home side bagged two half way through the 2nd half.We were all over them for the rest of the game but ran out of time,managed to score 2 more in last 10 mins hit the post etc,wasnt our day.Think they r a good side & use there small pitch to there advantage but we must compete for 90 mins wen we play them at home not just 10 mins at end of game.....

Really good performance from us boys yesterday. Always seemed to be in control and matched them physically which was a good thing. We also missed 2 or 3 one on ones so the scoreline could have been a lot bigger. Goalscorers were Jonny Pell 2 and Kyle Cleobury. Not sure who ref was but he had a very good game too

u must be a bad side the prem league sounds just as bad as dodworths league. is there any point us getting promoted
