ResultOssett Two Brewers 1 -0 Little Bull
A very close and hard fought performance from both sides, with very few clear cut chances. Asbury for Bull missed a easy chance when through on goal, and Firth missed 2 simple chances for Brewers. The goal came from a wonderful strike from Riley midway through the second half. Despite the intense local rivelry the game passed without major incident, except for a few late challenges.
If the bull lads had put as much effort in to playing as they did whinging I am sure they would have troubled our back 4 a lot more.
Well played both teams.
7 points clear at the top.

hangover from last week wen 2 nil down then in the 2nd half it was that easy it got boring for outwood could av bin double figures. crofton tired to lame outwood players in the second half but think they relized they picked the wrong team haha. still need to up our game abit but the gaffer played 4 or 5 fringe players who came in and did well. well done brewers

I thought u must have had a few fringe players in cos u were nowhere near as good as i thought u would be. We had chances to be 4 up at half time and u looked very average. Only 2 players that stood out were number 4 who i think might have been Bennett and the number 11 but the latter was a cocky cunt and when he comes up against better players he'll get found out. It was a good game to play in but the cunts on the touch line dont do u any favours either by telling your lads to hit a 16 yr old.

I've not played for the 2nd team this season but i think the main problem is confidence. We looked quite good when we were 2 up but when u scored your 1st our heads went down and when u equalised there was only gonna be one winner. We do have very good individuals and a few good young players but till we get some self belief we'll keep losing. Like i said to yorself you should be playing at a better standard and your not gaining anything by playing at that standard

But all credit to brewers,3 points is the main thing dosent matter how you get them.dont think anyone can argue brewers had the better of the chances. you can tell where the quality lies. at the back 4 and centre midfield 2 other than that thought others were quite ordinary. 
Dont think raz will strike a better goal it was a corker, i said to jamie after in the changing rooms. no keeper would have got to that.
we didnt disgrace ourselves at all. sometimes the ball just didnt fall to us. but thats football. jus wanna say Chris Gray,jamie Boocock, and Nicky Gill were outstanding today.!!!!!

disappointed but also in a strange way thankfull towards the brewers. on a bad pitch brewers played just ok in my eyes but did show 3 things that outwood lacked which as a player you should never lack and that is balls, bottle, and heart. some outwood players listened to there own hype which is easy to do but a big mistake and thats wot disappointed me. the thankfull thing is tho as a player you should always learn from your mistakes and make dam sure you dont let it happen again which i thank the brewers for teaching that. the league was always guna be a big ask before saturday and now even more so but until its impossible you still av to believe you can win it i sure do. time to regroup, man up and act like men and not little boys. i said this about my own team i spoke to your centre half with the dark hair tonight and im not bin arrogant or cocky i just fort after a good first half you rolled over in the second half and made it easy i cudnt get why.

Thought your best player was probably Shaun Gommersal, seemed to be the only one who wanted the win and was prepared to put his body on the line. Gilly was very solid. None of your attacking players stood out at all, which I suppose is a compliment to our lads. With regards to Boocock and Chirs, found it very funny when one of them tried out muscling Firthy then fell over themselves. Both of your centre halfs were often caught out of poisition, both of them gettin sucked out to the wide areas when we had throw ins, and leaving in space behind for Wayne and Austin. On a lot less windy day our wide players would have had a field day with all the space in behind. Also there clearances were very poor, led to the goal, and also to the ball repeatedly coming back at you cos they were rarely finding feet and normally just hoofing it clear.

Brewers v Bull yesterday definately didnt live upto expectations!! Bull were up for it much more than we were but after a dodgy opening period we were comfortable throughout, apart from a couple of wind assissted chances!!! We passed them out of the game in the second half without going through the gears and if we had have turned up like we did against Outwood it would have be 5 or 6!
I apologise if i'm not gracious in victory but after watching Eduardo's horror injury before the game yesterday then over and over again today on Sky Sports News, i am still fuming at the disgraceful challenge Sean Gomersall made on me towards the end of the game yesterday!!! It was a fucking disgrace and have got stud marks on both my knees and thighs cos of it. I thought he'd broke my leg!! Don't get me wrong i like getting kicked about week in week out but that was just fucking stupid!! He's shit at football and should never be allowed to play as far as i'm concerned!! Duggie Brown bottled it aswell, he didn't even book him never mind send him off (even though he admitted after the game he should have gone!!!!!!!!!!). I got no apology either from Sean and think he's a fucking prick who should hang his boots up cos he's always been useless!!
Apart from that it was a pretty shit game with the right result. Next week will be much tougher for us and is another must win game!!

it was a reckless challenge, but did speak to shaun after game and he knows he was lucky to stay on. he also said he was going for the ball..... let you two decide the outcome.
bull tried the long ball everytime and not once did they try to pass it around, lacked creativity and invention. the only chance of the second half came due to the wind carrying it past everyone, john should have scored but gav had it covered after he lobbed damo.
we started 1st 10mins with 10 men and we were awful in the opening 20 mins, bull had a goal rightly disallowed but then again the kid should have been booked for playing basketball then had cheek to complain he didnt touch it with his hand.
we didnt play well and that was one of our worst performances of the season...
will be fun on a day when the wind is not as unpredictable and swirling as it was on saturday. it really spoilt a good game.

We were the only team capable of opening the game up but you gave free kick after free kick away and never let us get going. Duggie did ok but a stronger ref would have given us abit more protection and let us play our football!!
Bull are a good team that work hard and well together but in my opinion you don't have the quality to open the better teams up!! The comment from Boothy in another thread saying that Garforth gave you a better game than us is quite comical!! Did they beat you?? You caught us on a bad day and still couldn't do the job!! We've had harder games against Scissett
All bitterness aside, it will be a much better game next time around and i think you could beat us as long as you play the best you have all season

Dont like to see any player booked, but a early ish booking would have clamed down both sides which would have meant that some of the tackles that happened wouldn't have, but sod it, it dint stop us from turning you over.
First time you aint scored- and to be honest dont think you would have scored against our back 4 if we was still playing that match now.
Better game next time- hopefully if your lads turn up and try to play football rather than your wimbledon style tactics, long ball every time, and when lose it lets try and kick the shit out of the opposition.

i would not swap any player in this team for any other. although there may be better individuals, the best players dont always make the best team. im most likely the worst player in this current team. but id take being the worst player, than the best as it means we have a good team.
