outwood world beatersdisappointed but also in a strange way thankfull towards the brewers. on a bad pitch brewers played just ok in my eyes but did show 3 things that outwood lacked which as a player you should never lack and that is balls, bottle, and heart. some outwood players listened to there own hype which is easy to do but a big mistake and thats wot disappointed me. the thankfull thing is tho as a player you should always learn from your mistakes and make dam sure you dont let it happen again which i thank the brewers for teaching that. the league was always guna be a big ask before saturday and now even more so but until its impossible you still av to believe you can win it i sure do. time to regroup, man up and act like men and not little boys. good comments, i think both teams can and have played a lot better. the pitch was not good for a good passing game, and coupled with the sun shining straight down the pitch made it very hard defending uphill.
our midfield was magnificent, and defence was more well organised and disciplined than outstanding, we did the simple things right and made it hard for your better players to find space, and ive run out of superlatives for wayne and austin, and mr firth was highly effective at his role he was asked to do.
another big thing was we stuck to our normal game which is to attack unlike other teams you have played.
you put us under a lot of pressure in the last 20 mins, although we did drop deeper than i really liked, we coped well and thats why you were just playing the long ball in the end.
good game and fair result if comparing chances and creativity.

is a very big month for us, as we will have played all the teams chasing us, still got 3 tough games to go and will be a lot clearer where we stand by the middle of march.
for me the hardest game is out of the way, and we owe athletic for our defeat earlier in the season. dont need to mention bull as it's obvious we need to beat them as they lie a point behind if they win their game in hand. (and personal reasons!!) garforth must have had an off day against scissett and they gave a tough performance last time out!!!!!

obviously not paying attention to the game....... how as a centre half am i expected to mark two strikers????? funny how when defence doesnt have a good game it's down to me and yet when we do have a good game it has nothing to do with me???? bit strange but theres me thinking theres 4 people in the defence, never mind will have to work harder!!!!!

Couldn't agree anymore son!!! Only deano that had it!!! I could only hear is voice all game!!! That is a learning curve for us!!! Think if u'd have been on field we would have tackled harder and stronger. Were not a one man team but when you get stuck in, everyone else seems to!!!!! Gutted we lost but like you say, heart, balls and bottle were needed and we showed none!!
