Matches organised for Queens Park, Pontefract Barracks, Purston Park and Carr Lodge Park will have a referees inspection prior to any matches taking place.
All other council controlled playing fields have been cancelled due to waterlogged facilities.

Micklefield is not in Wakefield. It is 3 miles north of Castleford which is about 5 miles north of Wakefield.

The match is still on - the pitch drains really well!
17 goals in the last 3 matches.
now the team is a bit more settled the results are picking up again and there should be some goals today!

And back to the cricket club in Garforth for some beer afterwards!
