I get the impression that AFC Wakey are hated as much as I hate DODOFF -At least DODOFF are pretty honest about their chances this year in that they will win fuck all where as that Wakey lot really seem to suggest they will win the league.
Have they ever heard the phrase DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR
They would not even finish half way up the table in the County senior bottom league thats why the mighty DODOFF fucked off as they were fed up with getting a pasting every week.
The table doesn't lie and I would suggest that when Alverthorpe play Wakey its got to be 6 points for Alverthorpe and probably DODOFF will beat em as well much as it pains me to say it.
Then whos going to take points off them,not the likes of DODOFF,Foresters,etc and you can forget the rest as they really are fucking shit by the looks of things so thats it in my opinion
Alverthorpe could be champions by christmas
AFC SHAKEY will lose their bottle -I saw the pictures on the website and they all look like apprentice hairdressers -
I still think they would be better off in a under 19 s league of summat

After playing AFC Wakey last year many times (Cliffe Tree) I have to admit they are a hard team to beat..........
Where they have improved clearly is in midfield.......thus creating chances to the quick lads up front...........
I went to watch last years cup final at Hall Green and they played the better football.........they were only undone by Featherstone's set pieces.
I'm sure they will be there or thereabouts this year as I hope we are (Alverthorpe) and I can see Dodworth, Rose of York and possibly Foresters.
One team nobody has mentioned is Wakey Utd......they have signed some VERY good players this season......they'll be up there too I promise you.......I know half the team.........
It was good to be back playing at our standard last week after two tough County Cup defeats to Moldgreen and Horbury Town.......very good standard......not nice playing against Huddersfield Town academy players and ex-professionals from Town and Bradford City!!!!! Good for fitness though!
