Im sure i overheard one of the brewers lads say they wernt that good and it was one of those days on saturday were they cudnt score and they humped the ball upfield a lot and scored 2..i know im a nosey cunt!!!

yea there doing wel cos they a good team.any brewers players who thought they were the beter team are talking crap.... apart from a 10min spell at end of 1st half due to some silly freekicks on edge of area,foresters were a beter side,there keeper only had to make 1 save all match.
why you worried about playing them??????

smiths arms were ok we just missed a few chances in first half and their first goal was a mistake by our keeper then other two were belters from outside area . prob is we have a few players missing over next few weeks .

Don't think there's any harm in coming on here and talking up your team..........as results are going so far this season, then Foresters do look a good bet to be up there.
I heard at the weekend they've a lot of good players back from injury.....I remember playing against them 5/6 years ago for Horbury Town and they had a good team then.
AFC Wakefield, Dodworth, Rose of York and Alverthorpe should all be battling for silverware this season.....
Banter on here helps for a tasty matchday......preferably a fish butty starter......

My first comment about Foresters was that they had a shit season last year ... and havent had a decent team for a while ... I said they were SHIT. ( Go to page 1 and the first few comments, proves that you can't read you prick ! )

yeah we started training up at our pitch when we started up again and lost the slot. Tried to get it back but was told it was taken. We managed to bag a slot at featherstone high school at the new facilities though where we have traditionally trained for years before college grove.
things are ok mate, won one lost one and drawn one and out of both the open and challenge cups. Still pretty optimistic that we will do ok this year with the squad we have. But getting hammered by dodworth didnt help morale. Looking forward to playing you lot though, will feel like were playing jolly miller with the amount of ex personell you have down there now. Infact i reckon jolly might fold from what i can see so far. We beat them 4-2 while i was away and i was told they looked a shadow of last years team.
Packed wakey sundays in too after falling out with the nob head of a manager after i set the brand new side up for him so am playing in the combination league now and enjoying it.

Andy......there's only Si and Craig Peters from Jolly Miller.....I think.....can't recall who Bash has played for on a Saturday before.......I know he played for Kettlethorpe, Smiths Arms and St Micks before us!
Dodworth are a good, well drilled side.....with Crouch and Owen up front, they'll cause problems for any side in Div 2 this year!
Featherstone aren't as good this year......seemed to be a few different players from last year......Rose of York are a good side too.
Are Snydale Ath Reserves any good......??

I agree, Dodworth will cause problems for alot of teams this year .... Willy hit the nail on the head (For once) Very well drilled !
We were asked to leave OUR changing rooms whilst they gave a team talk ... they said it was private ! Fuck me I thought Fergie had turned up with the champions !!!!
Can't say I agree with Rose of york ... odd few players OK .. but any decent side WILL beat them / or should beat them.
Garforth played VERY well against us last week .... If they keep the side that played us then they will creep up the table to a decent finish.
