First league games/ predictionsAs it is our first season in the wakefield league, we don't know much about the teams in division 2,

Out of the teams that are still in the league from last year the only ones capable of doing anything will be White Rose, Jolly Miller and possibly us (although you probably think different after our match)
The teams coming up cant be forgotten about as there is some good sides that have been promoted. Featherstone Colleries , Alverthorpe and AFC Wakefield (formally Cliffe Tree)
Played feth in a cup game beat, beat them one nil in a really tough game when we down to the bare bones, had a ref that didnt like us one bit but still clinched the win. They were a good side though and have a side in the west yorks league so its always possible that you may come across some of their better players in our league.
Cliffe Tree - played them in a cup and they beat us pretty convincingly. Was a poor performance and we should have done better but credit to them. They had a great midfield and their forwards weight in with a lot of goals.
Alverthorpe - not played them but know 3 lads that moved from jolly miller who are all good players. I expect them to be near the top this season.
I personally think you do alright rich, You played well against us. Like i said at the time we had a lads wedding on that day so were missing some key players which included most our defence so we are pretty confident that we will give you lot a better game next time.
Sorry to any teams i didnt mention i either dont know you or i dont think you will be up there come the end of the season.

White Rose on the verge of folding from what I have been told, 3 players have transferred to Ossett Two Brewers, another one to AFC Brewers aswell. Got told they only have 8 signed on.

If thats the case it wil be a shame cause they were a good side.

lost a lot of top quality players so our keeper has told us, expect them to finish near the botom, Alverthorpe to win league and gawthorpe to get relegated

Sorry andy but we've played both u and jolly miller in pre season and if you 2 teams will be challenging near the top, that division will be a pretty poor standard
