Division 2 results 24th AprilKeys 2 Stanley Arms 2
First time all season any team has taken points of stanley arms so we are very happy with the result. In fairness the game could have gone either way with us pressing for the winner.
Was a very tough game to ref and mick watkins did ok in the circumstances. I think he might admit it wasnt his best game but i know i wouldnt have wanted to be the ref tonight.
Its looking like we have probably left things way too late this season to gain promotion with the way results have gone tonight and last weekend.

Well done Andy on taking points off Stanley, but i think the second best team in the league proved there fight tonight against a very stubborn and mouthy Snydale side, we only just won at 2-1 but i think we deserved it, well boys only 1 more win in the last 2 games and were runners up, DOES ANYBODY THINK WE WILL SLIP UP???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

gotta say this 1 of the hardest games ive had to ref in the 2 seasons ive been doing it ,granted it wasnt my best game ,but it was very hard as players from both teams wanted to push and pull each other,and wind each other up .stood to my original decisions when i got a few things wrong, thought there was some cracking football played ,and did think the keys deserved to nick it ..

Tunny......2 promotions in a row for the Queens Park clan....?? Not bad that to say you were one of the whipping boys just a few years ago.....go start some more brawls in Barnsley...!!! 
Mick..........give what you see.....simple as......I know I couldn't ref.....I'd rather play than pick up the whistle.....even though I like to ref games when I'm playing........
Andy.....Cross Keys going up this year? We (Alverthorpe) have been promoted to Division Two so could be playing you next season?
We'll give you a friendly again come July/Aug if you want?

Who's Willy and how do you know about barnsley?  yip we were a bunch of whippin boys, just go's to show what happens when you discover talent, plus we havnt been promoted yet think we need 1 more win from 2 left, but you know what this league is like they will proberbly promote 10 teams like they did last year, oh and were off for promotion again next year we are the new wigan we have a mission for all 4 of our fans

Stanley Utd thrashed Gawthorpe 8-0 andy.
White rose beat jolly miller too, Jolly have really lost it again towards the end of the season.
As for promotion. I believe its only 3 going up. That will be Stanley Arms, Smawthorne and one of either White Rose or Stanley Utd. We have drawn against both stanleys and smawthorne in last month so had we won we would ave been right up there.
Only thing we are playing for now is to finish as high as possible just in case someone decides more than 3 go up and to try and stop stanley utd (my sunday side's sat side ) from going up
