Will Barley RIPTerrible news today that Crofton Sports Res up and comin midfielder Will Barley passed away today aged 17.
He was a quite but fantastic lad un always played with a smile on his face !
Some of the users of this forum might know him through the superb long range goals he got for us this season. 30 yard effort in the now infamous 3-3 draw with Alverthorpe, 30 yard effort in 4-3 defeat to Scissett un more recently a crackin volley in our defeat to Morley.

Really sorry to hear this. Not sure if we ever played against him although we did play crofton in a friendly at the beginning of the season.

When something so tragic happens to someone so young it makes all the troubles we have over the seasons seem stupid.
The lad was a credit to his team and family and our thoughts go out to all who were close to him.
