Div 3 performance of the seasonDiv3 sides have acquitted themselves well in cup competitions this season.
I just thought I would stick in a mention for Garforth Rangers AFC. In their 2nd ever competitive match Rangers went in front in their League Cup tie at Horbury Cherry Tree on August 28th 2007 and held the lead until just before half-time.
The score was still only 2-1 to the home side with only injury time left to play.
Cherry Tree won deservedly because we were subjected to constant aerial bombardment that we were ill-equipped to handle but their 2 late goals gave the result a flattering look.
As Cherry Tree are Premier Div Champions, having only lost one league game all season, I thought our performance against them deserves highlighting.

Yeah your 100% correct most Div 3 sides have done well against higher league sides, we've beaten Eastmoor (7-1), Dewsbury Rangers (5-1), lost to Smathorne with a scratched side from Wakey League. Then we've played Woodhouse Hill from West Yorks Div 1 lost (3-2), Knottingley Albion (2-1) and Hall Green (4-3)

we beat waterloo from 1st div 8-1 but they were shite...lost 1-0 at kingstone utd....lost in extra time to altofts 1st team....lost 4-1 to nostell...was 1-0 to us at ht...what ever side they had out.....and beat scissett 7-0...oh sorry...im going the other way now...
