We played a mixture of Academy/reserves/1st,was fuking hard an all,bollox to that every week at my age..plus pitch was rock hard...
We were 1-0 up at half time,fitness in the end told 3-1 down with 1 minute to go Damo our keeper failed to hold a cross and they won 4-1,he was outstanding all game but pulled his hamstring earlier..as did dux him and cooey at c half were outstanding..
Top notch set up there,having proper changing facilities was good..

you didn't really play against any 1st teamers, few reserves - but thats the nature of the academy - some play for reserves, some sub for 1sts - brewers did well, but if nostell had taken chances score line could have been embarrasing - felt for damo with the last goal - cos he kept 2 or 3 good uns out in the first half

Bollox Boothy Utter Bollox i know for a fact there number 4 plays regulary for the first team..you telling me there number 6 with the bald head is an under 19??what you seem to forget is 2 of our lads played for nostell and got all the info on there team b4 kick off...

The at the back your on about plays mainly with the reserves i've been told. The only others i know who wern't under 19s were craig up front who hasnt played for about 4 months and the lad on the left wing in the 2nd half who plays for the 2nd team

does it matter their academy team alone is a better standard than pub league division 3, and they beat thornhill 6-1 last week, we gave them a good game and they admitted it as did the ref.

Fitness showed. All credit to you, you gave them a game but you never really looked like beating them. Good goal by Wayne thou, he must av learnt that from his White Rose days! A lot of the Little Bull lads were there to see how you got on. Give you a bit of support lads, end of the day it's only a game of football.
