earlier this year, this forum sparked off a charity game that raised approx £2k for a good cause. would be a shame to see it go. People who aren't capable of staying in line with 'banter' should fuck off. Me and certain people on this forum can be very abusive towards each other without crossing the line - know your enemy before having too much of a go.- seems like Viduka has gone now - big hand for the pricks that have spoiled things | ||||||||||||||

not directed at anyone in particular - just a shame things seem to be going a little tits up - i don't read every post (believe it or not) and not sure about whats gone on between everybody, but like i said - something very good actualy came out of this forum only a short while ago - maybe a bit of re-branding is needed and we can get it back to a good laugh - if not then maybe it is time it was shut down

not a man of many words mick but thats the best thing ive heard on here for ages .. all this bollox is getting boring now and a bit 2 personal ..dont think anyone wants the forum to shutdown its a usefull thing to have .. the charity match for example ..
i agree there has to be rules but some people need to lighten up as well ...

I just can't undersand what all the fuss is about.....We all have an opinion..most of us have a laugh...surely nobody is above having the piss taken out of beyond reason...Its an extension of the changing room and the banter we have in the boozer on a saturday...Threats of violence etc against other members seem to go unpunished dependent on who it is..where as other less offensive acts of schoolboy humour seem to be punished with bans (again dependent on the culprit) Its good for the league to have a bond between teams that otherwise might kick the fuck out of each other and also it shows that the refs are just like the players in takin the piss.Everybody should be treated the same..... Keep the forum going... If I could put a pic on now it would be of wayne and coleen releasing butterflies as a symbol of peace. Shoo shoo dirdy c*****

1st of all i totally admitted both on ere and by email to r9 about banning him as i took the banter too seriously the other day but i explained it was just bad timing. I thought we had everything sorted then, I took the decision to ask viduka to be a mod and keep an eye on things as everyone who is registered on ere has the right for anything they dont want posted to be edited and deleted. With me not being around i wanted someone i could trust. You cant see it now but viduka was the 5th member so i think i made a wise choice. Lineachalk again i can refer you to the above statement about stuff posted about people that includes pictures and if i dont want my face plastered all over here i will delete as i see fit. I started this forum up for football banter and to open up communication channels between teams and the charity game is probably the best example of that and i was glad the forum helped. I shouldnt have to come on ere and have to tidy up posts where they are getting out of hand. We all are adults so maybe we should be acting like adults and yes that includes me. As for starting another forum up your all free to do what you want including you stanley lot but i suspect that if you did you wouldnt have as many visitors as you think as most people want this forum running the way it should be and not spoiled by children What ever happens in pm is obviously something i cant see so i cant do anything about unless i am made aware but no one should have to put up with threating behaviour either on ere or by pm. Now i dont want to be closing this forum down but i am not gonna keep coming on ere answering posts about how i run this forum. You either like it and play nicely or fuck off. |
