Jolly Miller 1 - Dodworth 5Poor game in poor conditions.Goalposts at bottom end of pitch only just over 6ft high. What a load of shit ,but another 3 points.Bit of banter from thorpe boys when Rondo netted.
Why didn't keys agree to play at thorpe ground ?

I was called last night at 7pm and told the game will probably be off ... as their pitch was waterlogged and ruined ...
I was then told at 09.50am today .. the game was off .... and they couldn't get hold of their players to organise the game at our pitch !
I spoke to Chris Holmes who said he would speak to them and sort it to play at ours ... I spoke to Andy @ 12.30 who said game was def off ... !
Really out of order when I have players who live in Halifax & Manchester ...who travel by public transport !
Obviously didn't have a side.
One of my players " Razor " spoke to one of theirs and they had no intention of playing the game ... loads of players missing !

You can say what you want mate, the game was legitimatly called off by rolly. The idiots who decided to use our pitch as a motor cross track are the ones you need to thank. I tried obtaining use of another pitch but was unsuccessful. So our gaffer stood everyone one down. The offer to play at your place didnt come till after he had done that and we tried some of the lads but by then most had made other plans.
I spoke to chris and told him the score and as far as i was concerned that was it. I didnt hear any thing from you so i assume that was it mate. I didnt think you would have kept your lads hanging around till 12.30 when you hadnt heard from me cause it was pretty obvious that we wouldnt be coming. I wasnt aware that we would have to switch venues if ours is unplayable but i did try sort a pitch nearer to us without success so we could get the game played.
I was looking forward to the game even though it was highly likely that i wouldnt be fit enough to play. Am sure it will live up to expectations when it gets re-arranged.

Fair comments although I do feel keys have pulled a fast one by not playing us yesterday!! Truth be know Andy you couldn't raise a team yesterday not just the pitch!! Come on how many injuries do you have??
Obviously very disappointed that we didn't play because Dodworth get the advantage because they have the points on the board!! The only thing you've done by not playing us is making us more up for it when we do play you!!! Anyway see you when we play you!!!!

You'd have thought they would have jumped at the chance to get a game out of the way as now it could be a mid week fixture. The pitch might have been bad but its easy to reverse the fixture and if they wanted to play its the first thing the keys players would have suggested.I know its better for us all way round really with us getting the points and keys not playing due to an understrength side but I think everybody knows whats happened.

Surely Rondo didn't score.........??? It's you fuckers winding me up again!!!!!!
Didn't come and watch you lads........went to watch our second team after their great win over Little Bull last week..........this week was an absolute shocker.........our reserves are a great set of lads......pains me to say this........lacks a gobby leader on the park who knows what they are doing......basis of the team is there.
I was quite impressed with Ossett Panthers.......improved greatly from last year........two lads in midfield (Deano especially) were very good and Stu upfront.....dangerous as always........not sure about the defence tho!!!!!

You did reyt not coming to watch Willy,we were very poor all way through to be honest but 3 points is what we wanted.
The assassin dint score again, neither did charlie b or myself but a cracking hatrick from Rondo, then we all wnt back to watch the stripper

Dan i dont know who you been talking to mate but we dont have a big injury list. We have matty out with a hamstring problem and suppose you could count me not being 100% fit although i might not have started anyways. Other than that we are ok. Also dont forget i am not the gather and not all the decisions were mine but once he stood the lads down he found it hard to get them to change their plans. We were not aware that we were obliged to have to travel if our pitch is unfit but like i have said many times i did try to re-arrange it without success.
As for being up for it i wouldnt expect anything else from you lot and we will be too i can assure you. The re-arrange game wont be midweek though, there should be time to fit it into a saturday slot.

Dont worry about it now its gone us lads were just pissed off we didn't have a game you know how it goes mate!!! I just heard a few rumours you had allot of injuries but at the end of the day if your pitch was vandalised then fair do's!! I'll see when we play you should be a good game.......Home and is your\ pitch sorted or are you playing on another pitch now??
