ive got to post a comment about the keys......
They are not the best footballing side ive seen . but what ive reffed them a couple of times and they are a very good battling side who have a good defence who pl;ay well as a unit. theres 2 lads in midfield who are very strong and committed.
thats what you need in this league battlers , team playing as a unit, like the keys..and overall commitment which all the players do ,,,,

Springwood Davy in the county senior league and I fuckin hate DODOFF after the stunts they have pulled over the years
Iam really not been funny but for a team such as Dodworth to be winning by such a margin nearly every week and not concede they either have improved ten fold or the opposition must be shite -
They look to have played only one decent side and they got beat !!
I really have no axe to grind with you mate but they have dropped down at least 2 notches in class so they can do well in your league and they won't even win that -

we gave to penaltys away 1 definate 2nd hand ball but it shouldnt of been then we gave up.
they had right prick up front to be honest he bullied 2 of are back 4 our right back went through him he got monk on and he just went mad.

They just caused trouble every week.One of the players even hit his own liner -They are a horrible set of arrogant cants -But the other lot who played in the SYAL were the old Dodworth team who were a good set of lads who just played for the piss up after really -

Lets put the record straight here lads. We (the keys) have had a good decent run this last few months. The two major slip ups being dodworth and rose of york. The dodworth game we had a make shift back four due to absentess and a make shift keeper. Two of their goals were pens, one was a stone wall pen, the other was ball to hand in the box. They tried to bully us and in fairness in some areas of the field it worked. The ran outright winners after the 3rd goal really. We are looking forward to playing them again though thats for sure.
Rose of york who we knew about having played them in a pre-season game was also a slip up and the game could have gone either way. They should have finished it in the first half and as rfozard will tell you they were kicking themselves for not testing our again make shift keeper. Second half late on we grabbed two and had many chances to grab a point if not nick the 3.
We still to play forresters , wakey and alverthope in the league and they wil be the games to decide whether we can figure in a title race.
Also the table will be changing again soon as cherry tree res have folded and as luck would have it we drew with them were as many teams will have beat them so we lose 1 point most lose 3.
Brewers - 3
Alverthorpe - 3
Jolly - 3
Dodworth - 3
Rose - 3
Keys - 1
Can also tell you if i was a betting man i would say jolly miller could fold too.

All you need now is the big four in the league (thorpe,Dodoff,rose of york and Shakey)to drop out and you might have a decent chance of the title (even with a minus goal difference

Kev not sure if you have played them yet but you will see what i mean. The big lad is a right cock. He doesnt like anyone getting the better of him. He was lucky to stay on the pitch to be fair. Second half though he kept to playing and did miles better. If you wind him up i am sure you will make him snap. All his team mates knew he was a live wire too.

We have played 'em mate.....at home...beat them 4-2. Yes the big lad upfront was mouthy but he didn't really bother 'The Cunnane-inator!'
Their worst player was an oldish guy at the back.......he was trying to be 22 when he's really 42.......needed to grow up.......mouthy, threatening to punch people off the ball etc........
We stuck to football and just ignored them......looking forward to the away tie.....nowt like beating somebody in their own back yard!

Cross Keys are pretty poor IMO, we (Ossett Two Brewers) played and beat them in our first pre season game 5-3, that was our first game together and we was the better side. And before the Keys lot say we had 39 players missing we also had about 6 players not playing who are now for us.
As for the other Brewers team, I think they may struggle seen as though we have just signed there best player(the words of their manager not mine).

None, Stuart and Raz both rang me last tuesday. Raz wasn't happy and wanted to play with some of the lads he played with last year at White Rose (Austin, Wayne, Cooey), Stuart was happy to let him leave cos he didn;t want players who dont wanna play for him/ All is well, another quality player joins the Brewers All Stars, MOM and goal on his debut too.

I didnt play in that game and i know a few others were missing but we are playing better then back then. 6 out of last 7 it is at the moment. Got two big tests coming up against forresters and wakefield so we will see where we are after them two games.

Oi nob head. You might want to have all the facts before spouting off.
We actually played them off the park, Had 2 goals dissallowed one of them was well over the line and even their keeper said so. We battered them second half but lost to two very dubious off side decisions that went against us in the last 15.
Ask any of them lads on the forresters side and they will admit they were very lucky and had the ref to thank for the 3 points.
We would have been 3rd tonight and after the cherry tree points get expunged on wednesday after the meeting we would have been top allbeit for a few days.
Your right we need a better goal difference any idiot can see/say that but we are playing well and the run we just had before today proved we are playing well enough to be there or there abouts.
We will see where we are at the end of the season wont we. I wouldnt mind if you actually had some offiliation with any of the clubs in this league but your just hanging around the forum spouting shit.
