Games 24th MarchWho's everyone got this weekend?
We've got Featherstone and I've no idea what they are like? I missed the game we had against them at the start of the season and some members of my team reckon they had ringers in from their first team.
Has anybody played them yet?

yes we played em twice 1st game at home lost 2-1 i think second game at theres was a bit dodgy pitch was bolloxed and there 1st team were watching as there game was cancelled they definatly had 1st teamers in but we managed to come away with a 1-1 draw,old guy upfront seems to be danger man so dont take him at face value

Cheers fella......if its the same bald headed bloke I played against a few years back when I was at Horbury Town, everybody took the piss when he turned up........then when he played, he took the piss!
Really good in the air......will have to watch him......!

We played them in the callagahan cup. Beat them 1-0. They were pretty good but the weakest part of their team was their full backs. each time they got the ball they just hoofed it out of play.
We sort of knew their striker as one of our plads played with him years ago. I was given the task of man marking him as he normally wins everything in the air, He is one of their oldest players with a bald head and hasnt got much pace but if he beats you to the header it normally ends up with one of the younger lads running past and scoring. If you keep him out of the game i think you will win.

When we played you pre-season, I thought you lot would do well this season in Div 2. Might end up playing you next year......who knows!

Tell you what happened mate and it pisses me off.......why does a club like Featherstone have to bring first team players from their West Yorks league team and play them in Sat League Division Three?
Totally pointless pot hunting knobs......their touchline where lapping it up!
We went 1-0 and got to 40 mins of the first half. They scored two in two mins to go 2-1 at HT.
We had chances but couldn't score. Afterwards they said they needed to bring a strong team to play us. Don't know whether its a compliment or not but it makes a whole mockery of the league!!!
Still......fuck it.....its only a game......what colour you lads coming in next week??
Be warned as well....pitch is rock hard......

yes a i agree thats very annoying,i disagree that west yorks league players are allowed to play in the wakey league aswell,i know a lad plays in same division as feath in the west yorks league and cos they no game the other week he played for weavers..
we play in all white,hope it rains or it could be the end of my season if the pitches stay bone hard

No worries mate. You might be playing us next year cause i think we have fucked up tryin to get promoted after losing to afc two brewers on saturday.
how do you know about grippers antics on wednesday lol. I always end up getting injured when i am marking him.

Quite intrigued about how you lost to AFC Two Brewers. I know they are a physical side but would have thought you would have been able to cope.
Is Shaun still their captain in the middle of the park?

No there captain was the big lad at the back.
We had a good few players missing and even some pleyers who were there were missing on the pitch. They deserved to win if i am honest but the ref didnt half help em on the way,
Some bad decisions and he clearly didnt want to book any of their players for continually hacking shawn down just as we looked like getting a break. The ref knew most of their lads by name and it showed.
They also got the ind behind them and it made the ball over the top and inpartiucular the keepers kicks really hard to deal with downhill. We should have camped in our half and just defended the first half but we kept going forward looking to score and it lead to them having a free run at the back.
Aye grippers sound. Just really physical. I am the lad that lent the spare ball of you lot on wednesday so if you remember i am pretty skinny and no match for him what so ever.
