Game of the Season

I know we lost but Outwood 3-2 Little Bull was a corker.  Outwood mullered us all game only for us to fight back with two goals in the last 10 to draw level - and they got the winner (albeit should have been disallowed Laughing ) in injury time (according to my watch the whistle should have already been blown Laughing ).  The performance from Outwood in that game was the best I have seen from any team this season.  What a shitty day it was too - wind and driving rain all game.

Best moment of the season for me was last Saturday, seeing Dux score the worst penalty in history against the club he loves so much then running away with his fist in the air shouting....... "AND THATS WITH 10 MEN"  Laughing  Laughing Priceless  Laughing  Laughing

No - that was 'Shock result of the Season'  still at a loss to explain how we lost that one - should have been 4 up at half time.

Outwood Victoria triumphed by the same margin against visiting Ossett Panthers.

Adam Hayton (2), Dean Riley and Danny Harwood were the home marksmen, with Stuart Garnett the visiting goalscorer.

Victoria are in cup action on Friday evening when they take on red-hot favourites Ossett Two Brewers – seeking a league and cup double – in the Division Three League Cup final at Hall Green. Kick-off is 6.15pm.

Not taking anything away from what your lads did that day, but if you'd performed like that all season you would have won a lot more.  Morley are on fire - gonna be difficult for you tonight - but would like to see an alverthorpe win
