'Bullying Stops Here Day' was a huge success at our academy. Our kids learned some very effective techniques for self-defense when confronted with an aggressor determined to intimidate or injure.
The session began with a discussion about what bullying is and how it makes its victims feel. How to identify a bully, and what to do if you're a victim. |

Some of the self-defense techniques we learned included what to do if someone grabs you by the wrist and and trys to pull you against your will.
How to properly defend yourself and get up if you're pushed to the ground. What to do if someone trys to intimidate you by grabbing your lapels. And, how to get an aggressor's hands off your throat along with many others. |

Everyone, especially the instructors, had a good time creating awareness for this important and far too common problem in our society.
Hopefully, the kids will have some very effectve tools to help them in their daily lives and we look forward to making this an annual event. |
Wednesday February 27th is 'Bullying Stops Here Day.'
We've decided to get involved by asking all of our students to wear something pink starting on Monday February 25th.
All our Instructors will be wearing pink belts for the week.
On Wednesday February 27th we will be conducting a self defense workshop during our two junior classes. We would like our students to bring a friend to participate in these classes. There will be no cost, these classes are absolutly free.
