He's got you all biting.......I've said it before.....he does it to me....and I'm one of his players.....he's a fucker for it.....
As for him being like that on the pitch.....I doubt it.....he's knackered after 2 minutes sweating out the butties and cheap ale from the club.....
I would describe him as opinionated and direct.......he wants his team to be the best and talks them up.......just like other members of other teams on here.

Was it Alverthorpe Sunday or Saturday Lloydi you used to play for? Know quite a few lads that's all......how's Adam James doing at the Vic......he's a good lad....he played with me when we set up St Michaels 5 years ago.

St Micks was a good team.......3 successful promotions and into the Premier Division......split up a few years ago and YES the Smiths Arms manager was the old St Micks boss......to be honest, that's why some of the lads started Alverthorpe up again.....to get away from him!!!
I saw you play our reserves at the start of the season in Outwood Park.......not a bad bunch, like to play football and composed at the back.
Too good for that division (like a few other teams) but like us (Alverthorpe first team) you have to do it the hard way and go through all the divisions!!!!!
By the time we get there, I'll be too old and back in the 3rd the division with the reserves!!!!!

Thout i recognised him!!! I knew that it was down to him they left!!! Dint a lad colled kev (karate bloke) manage a team at micks!! I used to play with him at alvey!!! He's a good lad!!!
