thought brewers would have fancied a challange against the 1st team with all their new superstars joining, Their the new "UNBEATABLES" aparently, should be an interesting game considering both teams are in same league, should see what the season has to offer!

Since when are the brewers in Division 1?

Ossett Two Brewers 3-3 Cofton(Royal Oak)

Not a bad run out for a weakened two brewers side, missing several players dor one reason or another. Brewers played the better football, gifted crofton the first goal after Ginner underhit a back passs to our keeper, and Raz rifled in a awesome own goal for there 3rd too. There keeper would have been sent off in a competitive match for an awful attempt at choppin Austin down in the box. Not to mention we had a goal ruled out for offside but Gav was 5 yards behind the last man, and Austin scored direct from a corner only for the ref to waive play on. All in all, a steady result against a division 1 side, with Brewers been the better side for the majority.

Must be good for the bull to have there only friendly against Cleckheaton old boys, how old were there old boys? Pensioners!

So how may of the team get the £20 bar tab when you win, £10 when you draw and £5 when you lose - is it just a certain few or everybody?

You really are a prize tit!

Why the fuck would we buy anybody a beer for playing pub footie in division 3 of the wakey league?

Only beer they will get is the one I will buy them all out of the hundred quid you will be coughing up at the end of the season.
Wayne Rooneys Foot

Its just what I got told yesterday. A Brewers player had approached a friend of mine to play for you next season and said the aforementioned incentive would be offered (i.e. the twenty quid bar tab etc..) It would explain why so called superstars are quitting significantly better teams to slum it in our division - no matter how popular and such a general all round good guy that you are voakesy, I can't see them wanting to go to the brewers cos you are their 'mate'

Just thought i would make one one point, not disputing that the brewers were by far the best team on the day and should have won the game (and i expect will be out of the third division by the end of the season), you mentioned that you had an understrength team out, we had up to 11 players missing from our last friendly game, of which i would expect 6 or maybe 7 would be starting in the first team (including our two main strikers - over 50 goals between them last year) come the first league game.

Having said that it was a good run out for the "fringe players" and young lads (including 2 16 year olds) not a bad performance in all.

not to take anything away from your performance, was a good work out for both teams and the food after was spot on.

Good luck for the season, and i hope the league finishes with Bull at number 1 and Brewers in second then the rivalry may continue

Ringers? Didnt know you had to be officially signed on for the mickey mouse 6 a side comp?

Yes you do have to be signed on - and by the way Damo's Dollies celebrated, they certainly didn't treat it as a Mickey Mouse competition - you'll do well with some of those lads in your team. And talking of Mickey Mouse competitions, division 3 of the wakey league is hardly the barclays premiership is it?

ANd Damo's Dollies what a team name!!! Does that make you Simon's Bitch??

Impressive form, not quite as impressive as the Little Bull's form in the Wednesday night league, but impressive nonetheless.
prostarboy

who cares about 6 aside.....i would rather get hammered by the bull so 2 "tappin up" brewers dont finsh above the bull!
