i was only havin a bubble with yer....should be some good competition...i know horbury struggle for a team in the old boys....and i also know...that they play first teamers....they did well one season because of it....some things never change

I played for them when they did that. Jimmy, Alex, Ammo, Me and Woody all played the last 7 games for the old boys 2 get them promoted. Stupid really cos they were never gonna cope.

I had a good few years for Horbury Town. Got a lot of time for the lads at Slazengers.
Depends what team they put out really. Could you really see any of the first teamers wasting their time in the 3rd Division???? I don't think so.
I wonder if the pissed up twat Haggis still plays centre back??? Quality bloke, really good player and his face is constantly red due to intake of lager at Horbury Boons......what a legend!!!!!!!

Was speaking to our striker Jim (Alverthorpe) because he plays for Thornes on a Sunday.
It will all depend if the majority of students can come back for the weekend......if so.......they will be a very good team.
Run by Chewy (centre back and he owns the Red Bar in town) plus they are trying to persuade 'Robbo' to start playing again.
This would be a complete joke as he played for Nostell not so long ago in centre midfield (West Yorks League) and made everybody look stupid then!!!
He'll still be in his early/mid 20's..........good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!
