'Thorpe 4 V 2 Rose of York
Thorpe made hard work of this game but FULL CREDIT to the Rose boys ... probably desereved more ! 'Thorpe 2-0 down after 10mins but a bit of heart and it was 3-2 to the 'Thorpe at H/T. Rose missed some GOOD chances .... hit bar 3 times and post twice in second half ... but 'Thorpe pulled through.
Man of match went to Big Danny 'N' .... Number 9 to the rest of you! Very good performance ... !
Thanks to to the Rose boys and Mr Fozzard ... Good game ... and good games manship all the way through .... good set of lads ! Keep them together and you will do well !

I said it at the start of the season when we beat them in the league that Rose were a decent team.
They've got two very strong centre backs and are excellent on the break........I thought we were poor on Saturday.......but at the same time showed good character in not letting our heads drop....
I agree about Danny.......great response after last week along with Macca......
How good was Shaun in defence yesterday again......the guy is brilliant......edging towards 40.....nice cider aided belly......smokes 20 roll ups an hour.......and still nobody can beat him.....!!!

Cheers Guys, Yeh it was a good game and it went to the team who took there chances, unfortunatley the ball just would not go in the net for us and you guys took your chances.
Alverthorpe are a good set of lads and on the performances so far you should win the title as i can not see you losing many till the end of the season.
The referee was good and it was a good game of football to watch.
Thanks for the snap after and look forward to playing you at home guys.
