Adam Hayton- MOM last night!! Now renamed the Hayton Saga!!This lad was awesome last night, if you can get him there every week next season along with this Stu Bateson then it looks like Outwood will have a very strong side. He dominated the midfield and stopped ours playing. I saw him V Bull and thought he was top notch up front but looks like midfield his is postition.
Well done.
A special mention to Bennett, who won everything at the back, fuck knows why our brain dead team always lumped it down his throat though.

From what I have seen in Burnley express it looks like he played for this Padiham reserves in September and April mate. if so there could be trouble ahead if he has represented Outwood within 28 days.

I know the rule stopped us signig Olly and Tolly from town, and stopped Bennett going to Albion. They play in same league structure as town reserves and Albion from what I can make out.

Maybe worth a shout, but the league woudn't be happy paying the epxenses and what have you cos one team bent the rules. Lets wait and see what the league have to say.
Outwood do have a history of this too, remember the 4points earlier this season. Could more league points be knocked off if these alleagations turn out to be true then Si?

Padiham started well but missed chances by Thomas Riley and Anthony Pearson and a shot against the crossbar by Joe Stacey meant the game remained goal-less at the interval.
A disastrous start to the second half saw the young Storks go a goal behind from the kick-off.
They levelled on 55 minutes when Adam Hayton converted a Chris Greenwood pass.
And they went ahead on 70 minutes when Hayton rounded the keeper following a through-ball from Stacey.

A coach from Ossett Common Rovers came down to watch us and wa talking about that lad wiv an Outwood spectator and was told that the lad played for Burnley and wa getting paid. Obviously he meant played for a team in Burnley.
Which league do this Padicarm play in cos in the rule book it states no players from Unibond, Northern Counties and Lanchashire League
We also reported this to Mr Hargreaves back in October and he said he'd investigate, might have to remind him of that. Also why did Outwood get deducted points before and who against.

Right, my final post on this saga until we hear what Hargreaves has to say.
How we was made aware of the situation was I was having a quiet pint and asked one of the Outwood lads why this lad Hayton was IMO the best player on the park on Tues doesnt play every game and he told me he plays for a team in Burnley and gets paid £40 a week. I didn't mention anything at all, but when I actually thought about it I remembered the ruling that stopped Bennett going to Albion and us from signing a couple of lads in the summer. After doing a simple google internet search, Adams bebo site said he played for Padiham FC. Who ironically play in NEC, which falls under the banner of the Lancashire League. After checking the local rag, I could only see that he played and scored for them against Ashton on 1st Sep, however Viduka then discovered that it says in the Burnley Express that he played and scored on Saturday. I brought this to the attention of Simon, who contacted Padiham who confirmed it was the same Adam Hayton. Then he passed the query onto David Hargreaves. End of, leave it to Hargreaves then!!!!

its abit childish to be honest its like me phoning mr h and saying i want a full investigation into players playing under different names 75% of teams will av done it and 75% of teams will do it again next season and so on and so forth. we played adam hayton under his real name cos there's nothing to hide. i once scored my best goal ever under the name of arthur oldroyd for rothwell town and got in the evening post football is football sore loser end of.

Without going over old ground its a rule for a reason mate, it stopped you going to Albion and earning a few quid, and it stopped us signing 2 very good 20 year old lads from Ossett Town Academy/Reserves, who would be up there with you and Hayton on ability. If he has played for this team in Burnley then its not a level playing field for all the other teams, as they haven't been able to sign players with the same experience/ability.

Outwood........ are you definately in the clear? I really do hope you are cos you were a different class on Tues and fully deserved the win!! No team has totally outplayed us like you did all season, although in our defence our lack of competetive matches (as were fat unfit bastards) was a killer!!
If Adam Hayton was ineligable then my excuse for being so shit is sorted I couldn't get anywhere near him in 2nd half and def should be playing at a higher level if he isnt already

What you all have to remember is that if Adam Hayton is cleared on Saturday and did play @ Outwood Park V Prostar on Saturday you may not be entirely cleared on this situation. If the Outwood web site is up to date he has played just 7 fixtures for Outwood, if any of them 7 fixtures are within 28 days of any game he has played for Padiham then he will be classed as illegible. If, you re unsure of this I would bring it to Hargreaves attention to minimise the damage. If Adam has told you he is playing for this Stanley team in West Yorks but is actually travelling to Burnley instead, maybe because he knows the rules and didnt want to miss out on a final, again you want to tell Hargreaves about it.
Were not out to get you at all, its rules, and we could have signed different players if this rule did not exist. And also, Bennett didn't like it at the time but I saved you a points deduction by tipping you off about this rule when you was thinking about playing for Albion reserves. I could have kept queit then and waited for you to play then shop you to Hargreaves. I dont think dicky would have played him in eligible, but if there as been a honest mistake then you wanna tell Hargreaves to minimise the damage.
I will repeat what Danny said, Div2 will be a battle next year if your in, something that we would prefer, would prefer to play a fiercely contested match that could go either way rather that beat shit teams like Inns 325-0!!! And to add to that your all a decent set of lads.
Either your in trouble, maybe even through a honest mistake, Adam is in trouble or Padiham.
