With Bull and Athletic occupying the remaining 2 promotion places, the fight for promotion looks very interesting. Which 2 will make it? Is it a possible that after Outwoods trash talking of late of been the best team in the league, that they could miss out, and face another season languishing in Div3?

thing is the ammount of teams that go up is unpredictable, they could even do a repeat performace of putting 5 teams us u just never know till june, still 3 games to play and if we can take 6pts from those games we will be promoted, looking back every team that has over 50 pts has been promoted so lets hope the trend continue's

I think more than 3 will come up. It will be an interesting season for us that have been stuck in their year after year. Having played some of you div 3 sides in friendlies or cups i can vouch for the quality.
Also looking at past years most of the promoted teams dont do more than 1 season in 2. They either go up to 1 or back down.
I reckon the league will see the quality of the teams in 3 and decide they will cope in div 2. The only thing that would possible stop more than 3 going up is if they are really short of new applications and that them teams are not of a great standard or they may just stick them straight into the higher div like Airedale , Dodworth and Rose
Either way you have all done well and we (AFC Cross Keys) look forward to playing you (whoever that may be) next season

when athletic beat bull, and morley win their games in hand and hopefully pull the 5 GD back then bull to finish 5th!!!!!!!
and i cant believe ive outscored the entire bull team in our games!!!!! (with 10 men)!!!!!

its getting tight for second and third with athletic and bull playing each other cos one of them have to drop points, plus we av a very hard game against morley too down to the wire me thinks

fuk knows - not been quite the same since that first mullering off you lot - still only got two players over the age of 22 on the park most weeks - just lacking that big game experience, but it will come. Doesn't help when I'm having Kevin Keegan style breakdowns every two minutes
Boothy's babes will bounce back though - whatever happens it has been a vast improvement on previous years (no criticism of dux there - he laid the foundations) and they will improve.
To be honest I'm looking forward to the summer break now - even missing the last game of the season (away for the weekend and was going to come back!) - but I will be leaving the team in capable hands that week for the game against athletic. Sure athletic will be gunning for revenge after our 3-1 win against them early season and the 4-0 mullering we gave them at the end of last season (hang on, I played that day - now wheres me boots).

And the fact they were playing Eye of the Tiger in the dressing room beforehand had a bigger effect on us than them
