athletic 1 bull 0. was a fast start and athletic scored but bull had 3 swings at it before it was smashed in at the back post. Athletics keeper the busier in the 1st half, but was long ball from bull which rarely threatend athletic. It wasnt a pretty game as both teams looked nervous and with promotion at stake it was who ever could calm down the fastest would win. bull couldnt get into any form of rhythm, as athletics noticable more physical side shut them down and hunted in packs to hassle bull. The second half didnt improve any and as the game wore on there were a couplke of hand bag moments, and athletic survived a real scare as a hopeful ball from bull should have been dealt with easily by the home keeper who misjudged the bounce and as it went over his head it bounced just wide of the goal, bull will rue not beating alverthorpe earlier in the season, but it was the 3 one on one's in the first half that has ultimately cost them.

noticable performance from turl, and boyce who had a decent game at full back. and well done to athletic for a solid team performance.

Pretty good anaylsis there Ducker, feel a bit sorry 4 Bull but thats football, think we'll get promoted by league so we can do it all over again. Think if the Outwood Vic signing Bateson is true then they will win Div 2 no problem, he's a proper hand ful
