Crofton Sports 6-2 Cross Keys

I would have put this in the premier section but with your boys performance admin u dont deserve to be in that section. We went 1-0 up early on after a great through ball by our number 6 (which was me) and after that keys were never really in it. I liked their game plan which was boot it as far as you can and see if the strikers can catch it, it must have took ages to think that 1 up.

Anyway it was 3-1 at half time, they scored from an awesome free kick. Then their players started getting gobby mainly dickhead harrison who unfortunately got sent off and their idiot centre half who couldn't string a sentence together(bless him) and he went round trying to kick people but all he did was kick the air, pretty much the same as he was trying to kick the ball.

The 2nd half they were never really in it and we banged a few more in but to their credit some of them never stopped and number 10 got a well deserved goal.

As i have said on the "other forum" you deserved your win. You were the better team on the day and it showed. We only started the game with one reconised defender on the pitch and that was the one that you say couldnt string a sentence together. The rest of us were on the bench due to the formation, injuries and people who were missing on saturday.

In fairness we never got going first half and you took advantage of what can only be described as shocking defending, After the wonder strike by Riley (who told us at half time that he pulled his groin 5 mins in) we started to press for another goal but left gaps at the back that your young lads took advantage of.

Secondhalf though the tactic of playing billy (our no10) on the last man started to work hence the fact he scored. Plus i lost count how many chances your keeper saved plus we hit the post too. As for harrison he knows better not to chelp at the refs as we see it all year round with other players but had that been a league game it would have cost him money, At least trev only made us take him off. To mattys credit (and i dont pay him credit much) he did go back and apologise to trev but as we had already made the substition he wasnt gonna get back on.

I would be interested to know what sort of percentage that team was with 1st and 2nd teamers cause we hammered your 2nd team last year twice and there was only a couple of faces i reconised.

No worries for staying behind it was a pleasure especially when i won the football card with leeds

Well i thought that was you full team as u had about 18 lads there. To ease your mind i'll go though our squad.

Our keeper was 1st team.

Our right back has just joined this season, 1 centre half was 1st team but he left at half time to play pool thats why i had to play there. Dabba was with the 2nd team last season. Our left back was 1st team but he was shit.

Left wing was in between teams last season as he's only 17 but he was awesome. Right wing was 1st team. Me and Rob in the centre was both 1st team but im usually up front.

Finally both strikers were 2nd teamers last season but the lad who scored 5 will probably be with us

Dont let your lads be too downhearted but a couple of them should get used to taking abuse cos they bite too easy and its funny to watch them run all over getting angry

We were missing 3 central midfielders and a striker but had 6 defenders on the bench including me. It was a good side but it lacked a bit more bite on midfield. Knowing you were gonna be there we deffo needed it. Upfront we missed our big lad up front that holds the ball up, I have never seen anyone that can hold a ball from defenders as well as he can he just sometimes leave it too long before laying off.

We totally agreed you were the better side and it was obvious that a lot of you were 1st teamers but as soon as we conceded such a stupid early goal it was always gonna be hard and credit to your lads for making it so. As for the chelping some of it was piss funny but all taken in jest.
